fomeralivonea

Our Journey in Financial Education

We started fomeralivonea because traditional budgeting felt too rigid for real life. Our creative approach helps people build financial skills that actually stick.

How We Got Started

Back in 2022, I was running spreadsheet workshops at community centers around Queensland. People kept asking the same question: "Why doesn't budgeting work for me?" The answer wasn't about discipline or willpower — it was about finding methods that matched how people actually live.

We discovered that creative approaches — visual budgeting, game-like challenges, flexible planning — helped people stick with financial goals longer than rigid systems. That's when fomeralivonea was born.

Our first workshop had eight participants. Now we're helping hundreds of Australians develop sustainable money management skills through education that feels engaging rather than overwhelming.

What Drives Our Work

Practical Learning

We focus on techniques you'll actually use. No complex theories — just practical methods that fit into busy lives and work with different personality types.

Creative Solutions

Traditional budgeting doesn't work for everyone. We explore visual methods, flexible systems, and innovative approaches that make financial planning less stressful.

Long-term Success

Quick fixes don't build lasting habits. Our programs focus on sustainable practices that grow with you and adapt to life's changes.

Zephyr Blackwood

Founder & Lead Educator

After ten years in financial planning, I realized most people need education, not just advice. My background combines formal finance training with adult education techniques.

I've developed creative budgeting methods that work for visual learners, busy parents, and anyone who's tried traditional approaches without success.

When I'm not teaching, you'll find me testing new workshop ideas or exploring Queensland's hiking trails for inspiration.

Our Teaching Philosophy

We believe financial education should be accessible and engaging. That's why our programs combine collaborative learning with hands-on practice.

  • Start with your current situation and real goals — no judgment, no pressure to fit a template
  • Explore different budgeting styles until you find methods that feel natural and sustainable
  • Practice new techniques in supportive group settings where you can learn from others' experiences
  • Build long-term habits through regular check-ins and ongoing support from peers and instructors
  • Adapt your approach as life changes — because flexible systems work better than rigid rules
